Victoria Rhodes 5th- 8th Grader Collects Teddybears

Elizabeth Sauer has a teddy bear drive at her school which is intended to help kids undergoing a trauma. people are encouraged to donate any kind of stuffed animals in the huge boxes which will later be taken to a group called SAFE which stands for stuffed animals for emergencies. she  was inspired to do something that gave back after her brother went through a trauma and she saw how much a stuffed animal can help a kid feel better.

this is such a cute thing to do. it shows that you don't have to do extravagant things to help out in our society. this is such a simple thing for her but yet all those stuffed animals are going to a greater cause that will help many children. this reminds me of during world war I when the entire nation worked together and the people who were not fighting in the war stayed home and did small things to help like give up food for the troops.
