Victoria Garza "Michigan shooting rampage: What we know and don't know."

On Saturday evening in Kalamazoo, Michigan, an armed gun man drove around shooting and killing  random targets. Over the course of 7 hours, he shot 8 people including a woman in front of her children, shot and killed a father and son in front of a gas station, and killed four women and injured a 14 year old girl at Cracker Barrel. Though these were said to be very deliberate killings, there doesn't seem to be any connections between the victims. The suspect was an Uber driver with no previous criminal record. He even picked up and dropped off people for Uber in between shootings.

The fact that this man killed 6 innocent people with no apparent reason behind his actions is absolutely repulsive. I don't understand why there has been such an outburst in random gun related violence. The fact that he was also an Uber driver and actually picked up and dropped off costumers in between murders is unsettling. This relates to US history because of the murders and assassinations that have occurred throughout the years.

  2. I also did my current event on this. It is really scary to see that it was a random shooting and that that could of been anyone.
