Summary: In Dallas, there are a lot of beautiful parks all around town. Some of these parks were even around in the late 1800's. However, that was the time of "Separate but Equal", even though that wasn't the case. When the parks were revised and named again in 2013-2014. They were named after there original purpose which was to be a "negro" park. The Oak Cliff Negro Park, South Dallas Negro Park, and Eighth Street Negro Park are some of the names that were given to the redeveloped parks. This has been causing a big dispute in Dallas and now the parks have been forced to rename their parks to more general things.
Analysis: I totally support this. This is obviously related to the Jim Crow era and how badly whites treated the blacks and how unequal life really was. This is just one example of how a lot of that racism and judgement has not been fixed.

If they don't change the names of those parks soon, there is going to be a bigger problem!
