In the aftermath of the death of the Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, a firefight of debates erupted out of Washington, the most significant being the Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. In response to the promise of the White House to propose a new Justice within a few weeks, these two Senators pleaded that the Republican Senate ignore anyone that the president has to offer.
These two Republicans are about as distanced from the well being of the American people as people could be. President Obama has every right to nominate the next Supreme Court Justice. Antonin Scalia needed to be replaced to make way for hopefully a more liberal one to perhaps, with the help of the soon to be president Bernie Sanders, usher in a new age of prosperity of peace and harmony where we can all stand around and sing kumbaya and stuff while standing around a campfire, holding hands.
