Stories like this are depressing because people are willing to run for as long as they can before they own up to what they have done. For whatever their reasoning is behind the robberies, it is not sufficient in making up for what they have done. This story can be compared to that of the behavior of the famous couple Bonnie and Clyde, who traveled the United States during the Great Depression robbing and killing people. Although this situation is on a smaller scale, it is still very horrible to think about and is a connection that I immediately made when I read this story.

It definitely is weird how you can relate these two offenders to Bonnie and Clyde.
ReplyDeleteCrazy and sad story. I feel bad for that couple, having to live an existence of constantly looking over their backs because of some bad decisions.
