Manny Pacquiao apologizes for saying gay people are ‘worse than animals’ - Ari Robinson, Period 3
Manny Pacquiao apologizes for saying gay people are ‘worse than animals’
Summary: On, Tuesday, professional boxer and FIlipino politician Manny Pacquiao apologized for remarks he made about homosexuals. He re-affirmed that he is against same-sex couples, but backed off from his original remarks. He had said that gay people are "worse than animals," citing the supposed fact that animals do not have gay sex.
Analysis: His supposed scientific proof is utterly absurd. In truth, some animals do display homosexual behavior, which I guess Mr. Pacquiao is too blind and self-absorbed to have heard about. Even if no animals did display these behaviors, that would simply be proof of humankind's more complex personality types. After extensive backlash, Mr. Pacquiao apologized, saying "please forgive me," and, "God bless." Don't back down from your opinion, Mr. Pacquiao. What you said is obviously what you believe. Of course, my opinion has no bearing on him, as his has none on me. All I can say is that I wish Floyd Mayweather had hit him just a little harder.

Great analysis. What he said was so homophobic and rude and it makes me angry just thinking of the fact that he said something so ignorant.
