Is North Korea deliberately pushing for conflict? Testing limits with launched satellite- Natalia Hernandez 9th.

The Pentagon confirmed that North Korea successfully launched a Satellite into orbit today, disregarding international condemnations. North Korea described it as a "earth observation" satellite to gain weather data and help...  farmers? No intelligent person would buy that. The satellite has already completed one of its courses and it even passed over Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, shortly after Super Bowl 50 ended.

Its quite ridiculous at this point. North Korea is raising tensions, openly flouting it's hydrogen bomb testing (which scientists are very skeptical of) and branding the man that attacked a U.S ambassador in South Korea earlier a "hero".  Not only does the North Korean goverment seem confident, it seems they are deliberately looking to start a war. The tension feels like a ticking bomb waiting to explode. Even China was united in condemning the illegal missile launch. Did they honestly think that people would accept their "earth observation" excuse? Sanctions are sure to be higher than expected when the hydrogen bomb was discussed in January.

This is very similar to the Cold War, where tensions were on the brink and the entire exchange was a build up of passive aggressive exchanges and blatant bluffing or provocations. North Korea's absurdity makes me think of Donald Trump; do they seriously believe what they say, or are they playing a game they're concious of, and in control of? It seems hard to believe that anyone could be so naive, especially the government of a nation. But I guess I'll have to wait and see.

North Korea really is trying to get themselves into something that they aren't prepared for. They are trying to rush so much like getting a satellite up and making it appear that they have successfully created a hydrogen bomb. I feel like they are way underprepared for a full scale war that they are obviously trying to create.
