Angelique Flores (9th) Stolen Truck found then Sold by Houston PD

Summary: On the 26 of August in 2015, Norma Sanchez reported her truck stolen to the Houston Police Department. She patiently awaited the news of if the police had found her truck or not. Then in January of 2016 she received toll violation reports and became suspicious. After doing some investigating herself she soon found out that just 3 days after she filed the report of her 2006 White Chevy Silverado being stolen that the Houston police had found the truck and sold it at their Houston Police Department Auction in November.   Sanchez was very angered by this entire situation and doesn't understand why they had the right to sell her vehicle that was yet still registered under her name.

Synthesis: I can see where Sanchez is coming from about the whole selling her vehicle is wrong but the police did in fact call her boyfriend and he did not pick up the call. They also claim that they sent a letter to her on October 8, 2015 and it was turned back into them, and after 22 days of no response they are allowed to do what they want with the truck. The whole incident is a bunch of He said She said so in my conclusion..the truck is being returned to her and that is all that matters.

  1. Some parts and/or actions of the government can be very shady, this is one of them. I can understand why should would be angered by this but as long as the truck is returned to her then everything works out.

  2. I would be angry as well if I were her. It's good thing that she did some investigating of her own, or she might never had known what happened to her truck.
