The Ku Klux Klan finally somewhat exposed- Eleni Loving period 1

A group of computer hacker activists called Anonymous have announced that they will release the names of about 1000 Ku Klux Klan members this coming week. An online battle started between Anonymous and the KKK almost 1 year ago,  during the Ferguson, Missouri protests that happened when a Missouri KKK chapter threatened violence against the people protesting that a grand jury decided not to indict Darren Wilson, the officer who killed unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. Some members of Anonymous were part of the Ferguson protests.
After the KKK threats, Anonymous members hacked into a KKK Twitter account, and got access to a network of members and associates of KKK members. Anonymous took control of this Twitter account, and hit some sites that were affiliated with the KKK with a "distributed denial of service" attacks (DDoS). Anonymous is a group of hackers and online activists that started around 2003. Some of its earlier targets have been the Church of Scientology and people involved with child pornography rings. It also attacked PayPal in a battle over WikiLeaks.
Its method of attacks have included revealing peoples online identities and also by shutting down websites. Usually the group supports protection of people's online privacy, but not in the case of some of its enemies, like the KKK. Anonymous has said it will reveal about 1000 clan member identities on the anniversary of the start of its battle with the KKK, which is sometime this month.

The Ku Klux Klan was founded in 1865 in Tennessee  originally as a social club by a group of confederate soldier veterans. It was a group of white supremacists that was against any growth in the population of African Americans. Today in the year 2015, this terrorist organization still thrives. In the 60s they were very active in constant violent plots against African American families due to the already unequal/unfair treatment of blacks during the civil rights movement.
For me this goes all the way back to establishing equality and, really needing to go back over what the declaration of independence says that all men are created equal, and that we are endowed by our creator, certain unalienable rights. I feel like there aren't real efforts being made in order to stop them even though what they stand for is the opposite for what America is supposed to stand for.

  2. That's crazy, yes go Anonymous... Hopefully by exposing them the authorities will do something, or the members will get spooked off and leave.
