Put reason back in America's gun debate

I remember a few years ago in the news there was a lot of events that involved innocent lives being taken away by a mentally unstable person with a gun. So our  government's planed to fix this problem by instructing that "more guns, less regulations."  In the report the author states that our Second Amendment (the right to bear arms) basically requires regulations and what we have now is definitely not sufficient. Thankfully the New York requirement for a concealed hand gun license is no longer "proper cause".Someone spoke out and said the ban for a concealed hand gun is unconstitutional.

We definitely need more laws to go with r the whole concealed hand guns and all that .And finding out our government just wants to give out guns with fewer regulations just sounds like a problem waiting to happen. So many people have been killed by a careless person with a gun, why give out more?Maybe owning a gun should come with the same regulations as owning a car: go through the proper training and testing to get a license.

  1. I agree with you. If all these incidents are happening, why aren't they trying to fix it?

  2. I agree! Why on earth would a sane human being allow people to carry around guns without even checking to make sure they are a decently stable person. There needs to be something done about this likely tragic situation.

  3. Bernadette Negrete- There needs to be more background checks when buying a gun. The governments being idiotic. How do we solve gun problems? oH, lets just allow guns to be even more legal and it probably wont bite us in the tail. No, this method hasn't been effective at all. Things need to change.

The debate on gun control is so controversial. While I do believe that we should of the right to bare arms I also think the safety of the american people is far more important.
