SUMMARY:
Late Saturday evening an IHOP parking lot gave way and opened up a hole that was 35 feet wide, 375 feet long and 30 feet deep. This hole swallowed at least a dozen cars, but authorities are guessing even more. No one was hurt in the "swallowing" of these cars, but the IHOP is closed which is a devastating blow to us all. The hole was said to be caused by a sinkhole, but after further investigation, authorities believe it was the collapse of a culvert or some sewer underneath.
ANALYSIS:
This event is scary none the least, but I can almost hear Henry Clay crying as he thinks about what his America System has come to now. Back in colonial times the American System were improvements made to the roads and transportation routes throughout the US, which in turn would help the country grow as well as the economy. This plan was one of the few that almost had an unanimous vote of approval, which is probably because there is no downside to this idea. If these culverts or infrastructures were more secure and strong than these poor cars wouldn't have been eaten by this monstrous hole, and none of this would have happened.

Very interesting, and I did not expect it to be this large of a collapse! I can't imagine what these people saw with their coffee that day. Good thing no one was injured- but I hope they have good insurance. Sorry Henry Clay.
