This article by Ralph Ellis expresses Prince William and Princess Kate's visit to America. During their three day trip, the two met many famous people including Obama, Beyoncé, LeBron James, etc. Also during their visit Kate visited children's craft events and the couple toured New York. Their popularity is extensive in the U.S. especially women and girls.
This event suggests American ties with Britain. Though in early U.S. times, the British were not as popular in American's eyes and were seen as enemies or competition. Through all the battles and war, the U.S. and Britain connection has re- established itself.
