NC teen found dead: Rachel Webb

A young football player in North Carolina was found hanging from an abandoned swing set after a late-night practice. There is an abundance of conversation going on about the event. People wonder if it was suicide or not and so many factors are regarded that it was hard to follow the video. A brief synopsis of the issue: The boy is black and often practices in the dark of the night. He was 17 and dating a 31 year-old white woman. Many people in the small town did not like this for a few different reasons. The belts used to hang him looked like dog leashes to some and to the his mother they did not look familiar. Because of that information and more, the scene looks less and less like a suicide.
I wonder why racial profiling has been brought up into this article so easily. Lately race riots have been popular, but every situation involving a black male is not a race issue. Yes #BlackLivesMatter, but if this becomes the focus of the crime scene then that will be another reason for unrest in this country. We all know what too much unrest ultimately leads to from this past lesson on the Civil War era.
