American Revolution Era Time Capsule Uncovered- Veronica Nichols 2nd Period

The capsule was left in a cornerstone of the Massachusetts state house. It is believed to be left there by Paul Revere and Samuel Adams. They believe it to have been put there when the building was being built in 1795. Based on well taken notes from the time period they know what is in the capsule. It contains rare coins, a Paul Revere plate, papers, and other artifacts dating back to the 1600's.

This is really cool because it can give us some first hand insight to what the US was like in the time period around the American Revolution. We do know some things in theory but artifacts like these give us way more information to work with to make the image and our histories more precise and expansive.
