Kalena Rodriguez P5 Cop caught punching a woman

A video of a police officer punching a woman in the back of a cop car was just released from back in June of 2014. the call to the case had to do with domestic violence. the video shows the woman resisting the body control from the officer but not being too spastic. the punch is caught on camera and directly after the woman says " You punched me for no reason." pictures were taken after the fact to show the damage and the punch left the women with a broken bone. no punishment was enforced on the police man.

there are set laws by the government (Bill of Rights to be exact) that protect our citizens from harmful punishment. are these laws now questionable by government officials?

  1. We're supposed to be able to trust these officers with our lives. That's what makes situations such as this so shocking. How do we put our lives in the hands of those who irrationally harm us?

  2. The police officers in America have felt entitled to rights and actions they shouldn't have. Our emergency personnel, while still humans, cannot make mistakes like this. Elizabeth Muscari p6
