New emails and jokes have leaked out about the President. People who have worked with him joke about his movie taste, and call him names that, well, no one really should be called. Also, two workers from Sony joked that the President could only like movies 100% made and done by African Americans. They started naming movies, laughing about it, as if the undertone or racism was funny. Not only were they insulting the President, but also Steve Jobs, Angelina Jolie, and James Franco Seth Rogen about their acting and a specific movie each was in.
This shows ignorance and abuse of wealthy people in the industry who should be praising actors instead of saying mean things about them. It also leads to the "joke of racism," showing that racism has never really stopped (which, unfortunately, is true :/ and this just proves it). Also, saying racist things about anyone, let alone the President, and working in a high position in a huge company, is down right arrogance, ignorance, stupidity, and, let me use the word again, racist. In a way, it reminds me of the secret in-the-room secrets the members of the House would have so a deligate or President wouldn't come across (usually being mean comments) unless leaked.
People and their dumb, what they think is secret, "jokes".

It frustrates me that this is the best thing that people can come up with to talk about. Does it really matter what kind of movies he likes? People just come up with anything to waste time on.
ReplyDeleteNo matter how successful you are you have to remain humble, this rule isn't only just for performers. In this business you have to be easy to work with and these people shot themselves in the foot, because they wrote off some pretty big names who frankly can take their talents elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. People shouldn't even be saying jokes like that to be funny and it still irritates me to this day when I see people say "jokes" like that. It's downright immature and it really shows how you were raised.
