Police uncover possible threat- Hannah Clifford 5th Period

In a suburb in Baltimore, there have been multiple car break ins. This Saturday, the police got a tip that someone had broken into at least three cars. They took in the 10th grade boy and interviewed him. In their interview, they learned of his plan to go to one of the Baltimore public schools with a gun and two explosives with the intent to kill. After the teen show the policemen a handgun and explosive devices, they called it in and the boy was taken in as a juvenile.

This was written by CNN to inform the US about the culprit of several car break ins and allow us to rest at ease because a possible threat to our schools has been arrested. We don't get tips like these very often. This could be related to when our troops surrounded General Burgoyne. Because we knew about his movement and his slow speed, we were able to surround him and defeat him in the American Revolution. If we are able to prevent a possible tragedy, that chance should always be taken advantage of.

  1. Wow, that was a really close call. And that's a good reference to history.
