Adrian Peterson Spanking his child with a tree branch Jessica Sheinfeld

Adrian Peterson Spanking His Child With a Tree Branch
By Jessica Sheinfeld
The leagues best player other than a quarterback, Vikings RB Adrian Peterson turned
himself in after his four-year-old son indirectly went to the police after being beaten by a
“switch” or thin tree branch repeatedly over the lower extremities. This comes after a long
line of domestic violence occurrences with many star players around the league and of
course in the wake of the tapes of Ray Rice beating his then fiancé to unconsciousness in
an Atlantic City elevator earlier this year.  Though deactivated by the Vikings, according to
sources Peterson will serve no jail time and could be back with the team as early as this
week.

It was said that Adrian Peterson himself was raised that way, but I believe he should

change his ways of parenting.  He could have really hurt his child and scared his son

forever.  I hope he learned his lesson and never does this again.

  1. You'd think that if someone was raised that way, they'd see it as ineffective and painful. If you really want to train something (or someone) then positive reinforcement is the way to go! Like imagine trying to put a leash on your kid! People do it, but it's way too much effort! A simple pat on the back, a "good work Timmy!", or even some sort of sweet tasting little treat are really the best choices!
