3 U.S. citizens among 4 people killed mysteriously in Mexico By Mariano Castillo, CNN, (Miles Sullivan APUSH 5th)

4 people, 3 being U.S citizens, were heading back to their home in texas after visiting family in El Centro when they were kidnapped. After being missing for about half a month, the 4 bodies were found with their hands and feet bound, and a gunshot wound to the head. Witnesses say that the teens were taking by a group known as "Grupo Hercules" which is an elite security force employed by the mayors in that part of mexico to protect themselves from the drug cartel. There is no evidence to why the 4 people were killed though, so the circumstances to the murder remain a mystery.

  1. Sounds like this is a very unclear and confusing case. I wonder if they had anything to do with drugs?

  2. That's very frightening that they don't have more information on what happened. There's definitely a lot of unanswered questions in this case.
