Branson mourns SpaceShipTwo pilot, says space travel worth its risks By Holly Yan and Susannah Cullinane (Miles Sullivan APUSH 5th)

Virgin Galactic's Spaceshiptwo crashed in California, killing one of the co-pilots. This test flight for commercial space travel went wrong in a way that has not yet been discovered, but at this time is thought to of been an explosion of sorts. Everyone involved in the projects says that they understood the risks and were willing to take them due to the importance of the work they were doing. A comment made of the behalf of the project was "Unless you risk something, the world stands still" Really shows how much these people care about their work, and how much of a risk theyre willing to take.
