Amazon's drone delivery: How would it work? Arlesia McGowan Period 4

This Amazon video shows a drone picking up a package at a warehouse.                         I'm not one for politics, so I try to mix it up a little. Whatever is going on in the world, I hope its okay...Meanwhile, how about some technology for ya? Sooooo, I'm not a technology geek either, but this was so awesome, I just had to. We all know Amazon. Our best friend online!! Where you can find literally everything, like legit. What if I told you that the company is designing drones called "octocopters" to deliver packages to your doorstep within that matter of minutes? Amazon Prime Air (the designated company for this production), would use unmanned flying vehicles to deliver packages; CEO Jeff Brazos says drone deliveries are at least a few years away, but they have already made one! As far as launching this project, the company thinks that it would be best to get started outside the U.S., being that there are a multitude of restrictions here, but not as much in other foreign countries. As far as managing it, of course, questions come to play, such as, how it will keep up despite the whether, or people shooting the vehicle down out of the sky. These are a few obstacles that Amazon has to work on solidifying, but meanwhile, it is coming along quite smoothly...At least we should think so. If this didn't blow your mind enough...what else would?
I thought this was really neat, especially when I mom orders from Amazon a lot, during Christmas and Birthdays to miscellaneous items my siblings and I need. The drone would be quite helpful and maybe considering the speedy delivery, this will enable more profit and for things to flow faster in the Amazon factories. This is an awfully stunning surprise. I wish Amazon the best and hope this will become a successful proposal.

Peace and many o' blessin' ,
                      Arlesia :)

  1. Felicia Padilla 5th period: I agree that it would be great if it was way quicker, because one time I ordered a pair of shoes from Amazon and it took them two weeks to get here!
