On September 6,2013, 169,000 jobs were added
To the United States. That seems like good news
But is it really? The average employment rate dropped from
7.4% in July to 7.3% in August. Jobs are being
Added but not at the rate that they once were.
Does that make you think? What of this was my
Family? What if we couldn't afford half of the
Things that we own now? For many American
Citizens those questions have been answered
For them. Some good and some bad. The news
Will continue to affect more people because
The numbers will continue to go down. Why?
It is actually not what you think. Many people
Are dropping out of the labor force. This is where
Many of the new jobs being created are. This
Also suggests that the numbers estimated before
Will actually be significantly less than predicted.
The United States has gone through a lot of
Economic turmoil in these pass years. I do not
Want to put all of the blame on one person,
But President Obama was faced with these
Issues in the wee months of his first term.
America has come a long way, but there is
Still a long road ahead.
