More than 120 years after Vincent van Gogh's death, a new painting by the artist has been discovered.The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, announced Monday the discovery of the newly identified painting, a landscape titled "Sunset at Montmajour."Van Gogh completed the painting in 1888, two years before his death.The picture depicts a landscape in the vicinity of Arles in the south of France, where van Gogh was working at that time, the museum said. Found in the attic of a citizen, this newly recovered artifact will add to the collection of timeless art.

This discovery seems too good to be true. Much like Tupac coming out with tracks even after his death, this new addition will spark a re-interest in Van Gogh, atleast for a while. It is good for the world to pay attention to classical works of art and embrace the history behind it. I think this new find can only be a good thing.
Finding a painting as valuable as a Van Gogh is great! I cant wait to see the painting as it could help link together some of Van Gogh's life events together.
