As you may have already heard, there was a massive bombing in Syria that killed over 1,000 people. Now America is trying to approach and aid in the situation, however Chicago citizens protest the very thought of doing so. The protest started with the chant " No justice, no peace. U.S. out of the Middle East". They started to march at Federal Plaza and reached all the way toTribune Tower in a crowd that gathered around 300 peace activist, all of them wanting to give the same message to President Obama and congress, Don't bomb Syria. One of the protesters from Syria was 47-year-old Kousay Ahmad Afif, which stated “America is about peace and love, not war” with most protesters agreeing with him, they do not want U.S. military action in Syria.

I have been keeping up with this specific topic and I completely agree that the U.S. should not interfere military wise with Syria. A lot of people claim that we are on the brink of World War 3. I feel that we have enough issues within our OWN country that needs to be taken care rather than going to war with Syria.
