Summary: Two
boys, ages 13 and 14 years old, in Spokane, Seattle have been arrested and placed
into custody after being accused of committing a shameful crime. “The boys
apparently planned to kill the woman, who was the mother of the 13-year-old
boy, and eat her liver,” says Spokane
County Sheriff's Deputy Craig Chamberlin.
The article says the 14-year-old came up with
the idea. They were going to rip her open and eat her liver, but instead the
older boy beat her with the handle of a sword. Chamberlin believes their
original plan was to cut her open, but for some reason, they changed their
minds.
The mother was injured inside her
house and two knives and a sword were found nearby. Deputies then went to the
house of the 14-year-old boy and his Dad realized his Dodge Durango was
missing. Shortly after they checked the house, they got a call about a hit and
run involving the stolen Durango. The boys were not found at this scene when the police
arrived. Police then received a burglary call. Someone had trashed the burglary
scene, but a state trooper sighted the same two boys leaving this burglary scene
and arrested them.
The teens were booked on juvenile
charges of second-degree assault, taking a motor vehicle without permission,
residential burglary, second-degree malicious mischief and hit-and-run. “Apparently
the two kids were on some type of pills that might have been ecstasy, opium, or
some type of hallucinogen” stated Chamberlin. Both of the kids have been
appointed public defenders.
Analysis: What
has life come to for kids to want to do something like this? The mother
couldn’t have possibly done anything horrible enough for the boys to plan something
so harmful to her. How do you even think of a plan so evil? This story reinforces the fact that drugs are
bad and make you do horrible things.

Drugs are the real deal, man. Not good stuff to experiment with. They're so young...where did they find the drugs? Did they pay for them? Did an old man offer them to the boys as they were walking down the street?
ReplyDeleteThey shouldn't have even been in possession of the drugs. -______-
It appears as though there was no father figure in the 13 year old boy's life (or at least not a positive example of one).
