Devion Camp - CWD

The Chronic wasting disease also known as CWD has been found in deer, elk and/or moose. It's been found in several states in america and Canada since the start of the year. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported this information. So far there isn't a treatment plan for this fatal disease. There has been some precautionary steps recorded to prevent catching the disease. First don't touch road kill, test your deer before eating it, wear gloves when field dressing your dear, and finally process your meat individual.

This reminds me of how we went through that phase when it thought that raw meat from an animal can basically turn you into a zombie. We need to be more careful with what we are putting in our bodies and taking the precautionary steps to be safe.

  1. Just like then, the reason this occurring is due to the administration rolling back or not enforcing food standards. I wonder what will provide motivation for change this time around.

  2. I hope a treatment plan comes out soon. Some people rely a lot on these animals.
