Just Another Shooting -Alex Travell

http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/06/us/texas-church-shooting/index.html

Devin Patrick Kelley, a Texas resident, recently opened fire at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs. Officials say that he has been having domestic problems, and that he has also been sending threatening messages to his mother-in-law. It is unsure that Kelley had any other targets in the church, but it is sure that he was targeting his mother-in-law.

After Kelley fled the church, he was confronted by residents and ran, until he later shot himself. His body was found in his car several miles from the church.

This shooting resulted in the death of 4% of the town's population, and the victim ages ranged from 18 months to 77 years old.

The fact that this continues to happen in America not only pisses me off, but it also makes me question our government's ability to prevent and deal with such events. This isn't even the first time that something like this has happened. Ever since the Aurora Movie Theater shooting in 2012, such occurrences have become more common and more intense. Again, I'm just tired of our shitty government its lack of involvement in during such events.

  1. When I read that the age range went to as young as 18 months that's where I kinda just started to question what in the mind of this dude made him decided to do this. I personally don't believe that under any circumstance should you be SO angry/frustrated with someone, that you feel the need to kill them.
