In the Somali capital Mogadishu, there was a bombing involving two trucks around the area on Saturday, October 14. The bombs went off in the vehicles which resulted in at least 277 (and rising) killed and at least 165 unidentified bodies, due to being too burnt to be recognizable.Over 300 hundred were injured. Many families are left with no closure and some don't even know if a loved one was involved. President Mohamed Abdullahi blamed the al-Shabab, who often attacked Mogadishu and claims their attacks fairly quickly; however, nothing has been confirmed as to who really did this.
This is such a devastating, heinous attack that happened to so many innocent people. Recently, the Las Vegas shooting attack occurred, which left a nation under grief. And now, we have Mogadishu going through an unimaginable pain. I hope everyone stays safe and I wonder how the protections of the people will change as time goes on...

Somalia is one of the most dangerous countries in the world and if things keep happening like this in that country, it's going to stay that way. It's scary and sad that this happened to them
