"Harvey Weinstein faces losing CBE amid sexual assault allegations"

Ever since the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault reports have come out, Hollywood has been in lots of turmoil concerning this kind of behavior, how it has spread throughout multiple industries and how to prevent it from happening again. And as these thoughts go through the minds of millions, Weinstein has been continually getting punishment after punishment, which is very well deserved. Most recently, is the possible loss of his prestigious "CBE" award which was bestowed upon him in 2004 for his "outstanding contirbution" to British cinema. The CBE is a major award in the UK honors system, only behind the title of a knight. Personally, for me, I'm glad to see him lose this award. America and the world as a whole need to realize that this behavior is not acceptable in any way, shape or form and we need to take steps in the movie industry and in any other industry to prevent this from ever happening again.

  1. This is one step further into fighting for women everywhere who have suffered sexual assault. The issue is the fact that, especially in the workplace, if a women is attacked or abused by a sexual predator then they either have to come after the attacker and win or stay quiet.
