Kathryn Hine- Spanish pilot dies in crash after National Day parade

  http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/12/europe/spanish-pilot-death/index.html

Last Thursday, an aircraft in southeast Spain crashed, causing its pilot to die. The plane was returning to the Los Llanos Air Base after the Spanish National Day parade in Madrid. The accident occurred while the pilots was landing, but any further details of the event are unknown. This information was tweeted out by the Spanish Air Face. An investigation into the details of the crash has been launched by the Spanish Ministry of Defense.

I feel very bad for the pilot's family and all of his loved ones. One thing I found interesting about this article, though, was that the news of his death was tweeted by the Spanish Air Face. It's very interesting seeing how technology affects the news.

This reminds me of  an incident from a few years ago. In 2009 a pilot had to crash-land a plane on the Hudson River in New York. The difference being that everyone on that flight survived, this is not the case in the Spanish pilot's crash, unfortunately.
