Kathryn Hine- Inside Denmark's giant LEGO house

http://www.cnn.com/travel/article/lego-house-denmark/index.html

Billund, Denmark has a Lego house. It's not completely made of Legos, so it's more like a Lego museum. The house is located in Denmark because the town of Billund is where Lego was founded. In fact, this isn't the only Lego-based attraction there. A LegoLand amusement park opened in Billund in 1968. The Lego house took four years to finish, and is popular among locals and tourists alike. Even two Danish royals, princess Mary and prince Frederik, visited the house at the grand opening. The house has 21 cube shaped rooms that are meant to resemble blocks and each room has a different color and theme. Tickets are about $30, but are totally worth it in my opinion.

I chose this article because all of the other news makes sad or angry. The current political administration upsets me, there are hurricanes and attacks every week, and yes it's important to be informed on all of those things and help in any way that you can, but sometimes you need a break. Legos are a break. I think it's wonderful that Billund just opened this Lego house and I hope it gets a lot of business.

This Lego house reminded me of the LegoLand amusement park in California, and the Perot museum.  Those are both fun, interactive museums that children and adults can enjoy.
