This week North Korea reaffirmed the fact that they are developing a missile that is capable of long distance reaching, " all the way to the east coast of the United States". The nation has not completely ruled out diplomacy but is close to doing so. They intend to send a message to the Trump administration that the DPRK has a reliable defense and offensive capability that can counter anything the U.S does. White House chief of staff member, John Kelly, said that Americans should be concerned with North Korea sending missiles to the United States. He also commented that Pyongyang "is developing a pretty good re-entry vehicle".
I LOVE when our president is provoking a rogue nation! Just the fact that we are on the edge of war with North Korea and these two leaders are battling for who has the biggest missile is just infuriating. This can be related back to during the cold war when the President Truman announced that the Soviet Union had detonated its first atomic bomb in 1949.

This is a very scary event that is occurring, not only that, but it is even scarier with how OUR country is being dealt with...
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if everyone could just get rid of their bombs and missiles at the exact same time. Warfare methods of the modern day have gotten seriously out of hand. If somebody decided to launch a missile, and someone else retaliated, the world could literally end.
