Firefighters make progress at Californians return to charred homes
About 11,000 firefighters are battling one of the worst things California has ever experienced. These have effected many in the worst ways possible. People and families are beginning to return to their home, with nothing to return to. Many burnt down to the ground. These families are left with nothing. The material things are replaceable, however the memories made in those houses, and the family pictures that will forever be gone. I cant imagine that feeling.
About fifteen huge wildfires are still traveling across California causing lots of destruction. 41 people have died during these fires and 88 are still reported missing. After seeing the damage in Sonoma California, people have estimated the repairs costing about 3 billion dollars. Also, they are worried about the health risks. The ash and debris is very toxic, and are not good to breath in of be around. This is going to be a long journey for California, but they will get through it. We need to be there for them and provide any additional help.
I agree with you. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose everything
ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate that this is happening but what is worse is that people can't control or stop this because it's a natural disaster
ReplyDeleteThe fact that the memories made in those houses and the family pictures that will forever be gone is devastating. Just thinking about the grief makes my heart hurt. I agree that we need to be there for them and provide any additional help.
