Trumpito is a bum
Trump's new target is NBA and NFL and he's been using his favorite word, "Fired," a lot more often. This all began when Stephen Curry declined Trump's invitation to the white house and told Rachel Nichol's on ESPN that he'd vote against visiting the white house. After hearing his comment, the Washington Post's Tim Bontemps followed him up on this comment, asking him what he meant by his statement. Curry then replied, "By acting and not going, hopefully that will inspire some change when it comes to what we tolerate in this country, what is accepted, and what we turn a blind eye toward. ... We’re all trying to do what we can using our platforms, using our opportunities to shed light on that. ... I don’t think us not going to the White House will miraculously make everything better, but this is my opportunity to voice that.”
After hearing Curry's comment, Trump AKA twitter fingers, tweeted that, "Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!" Lebron, the G.O.A.T., replied to twitter fingers by saying, "U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!" Trump was then even more triggered and used the Alabama rally to state his opinions on athletes who kneel or sit during the national anthem to protest against brutality and social reforms against African Americans "Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects the flag, to say, 'Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out, he's fired. Fired!"
Taking a knee during the national anthem and voicing your political opinion while being a famous athlete is now a new taboo in Trump's America along with many other things. I personally think that the athletes taking a knee have a right to do so considering the way colored people have been getting treated lately. Trumpito hasn't really taken action towards it or addressed it in the right way so I think that those athletes are handling it in the right way. It's a peaceful protest and it isn't hurting anyone except racist and/or ignorant people. What do you think? Comment below!

These protests aren't hurting anyone at ALL, I honestly don't understand anyone who would side with Trump on this issue. I think Trump's getting offended by PEACE reflects his actions and thoughts towards our own country, for SURE. How this guy is a president, I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteTrump needs to get his act together and stop using twitter or at least get someone to approve before he tweets. It's embarrassing and completely unprofessional.
ReplyDeleteThe bar for professionalism in the United States government is a high one, and Trump continues to lower and defame that bar with his repeated unprofessional and inappropriate use of twitter.
ReplyDeleteThese peaceful, emphasis on peaceful, protests have absolutely no negative impact on anyone. Isn't it their rights to perform these acts of freedom of speech. Trump needs his phone taken away.
