On August 13th, Patrick Harmon was shot by a Salt Lake City police officer. Just today, the trial was justified. The police officers felt that Patrick Harmon was likely to hurt them so the shooting was valid in the situation. There is video footage of the situation that backs up his story. Harmon was claimed to have had a knife with him and threatened the police, therefore making the death of this situation valid. This resolution of this case is important because it will be used in the future for or against other cases that need references. It is still unknown to this day what Harmon's motives were.

I feel like even though he was armed you shouldn't make a move until he attempts to do something because all he had was a knife. What more could he do, the police had guns there's no reason to start fire.
