On Monday across California, there were "Deadly fires" which forced people to evacuate and destroyed many homes. The bigger fires were in the counties of Napa and Sonoma. They have announced that 10 people are dead and more than 100 are being treated. Officers say that the number of people that are hurt is going to change. They are still looking for people. Thousands of homes and buildings are destroyed. The winds did not help the situation it just made matters worse, The fires started due to dry condition. This fire even destroyed some landmarks, for example, the Fountaingrove Inn. Authorities have put a curfew only for parts of the city. A lot of the vineyards were threatened, all the workers were evacuated safely but three-fourths of the grape vineyards were taken, but again grapes can grow back people cant!
The Country had been through a lot during the past months with the hurricanes, earthquakes, and now fires. Prayers go out to the families who lost their homes in just a few seconds.Its good that a lot of people evacuated fast and safe!(the vineyards) Its been a crazy few months and hope they recover safely. I hope all these disasters are over because this year has been extremely overwhelming!
