Before reading this article, I had heard my family talking about it at dinner but not enough information to have an effect on my understanding. Posted on a local news site, I do not know if i can believe that this story contains any bias due to not being familiar with it. This article was published on April 4, 2017, an is important because it can warn others in a nearby area to watch for sharks. This could synthesize to the shark attack years ago when Bethany Hamilton lost a limb from getting attacked by a great white while surfing.

That girl sounds pretty brave. I'm glad she was able to fight it off!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she was okay and it was smart of her to start fighting back.
ReplyDeleteThis girl's instincts took over and fought off a shark, that is so incredible. This makes me fear swimming in the ocean even more.
