Officials reported that the 14 year old suspected of the shooting was charged with three counts of attempted murder, and he was charged with the murder connection with the killing of his father at his resident . CNN is not naming the accused shooter because he is a minor , however his case is being heard in family court.
Jacob was not the only one who was injured during the shooting, another teacher and student were treated and released on the day of the shooting. Police are investigating what was the 14 year old motive and are trying to keep many families calm after this tragic event. (Jacob on the right)Analysis: Honestly this really hurts my heart because a innocent little boy life was taken at a very young age and also school is supposed to be a safe environment for children and teachers. Therefore ,school county's should enforce some type of patrol during school hours, for this issue has become a very tremendous problem in the school system from Sandy Hook, Rock Crusher Elementary School, Hillside Elementary School etc. Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean you shouldn't take action in saving a next child's life .

I agree that extra patrol safety of children at school is very important especially in these scary scenarios. Awful that such an innocent, young life had to be lost.
ReplyDeleteI really do agree with your last statement, most events like this just turn into a hashtag and people talk about them for 2 or 3 days, but this is a real world problem that needs to be addressed, not just when it happens to you.

ReplyDeleteI think there should be more patrol officers out there to protect the innocent children who probably can't defend themselves. It's so sad when a child looses their life and I can't imagine the pain and suffering the parents and family is going through. - Skyler Tepedino
ReplyDeleteI agree with Liam, too often we turn things like this into tweets or posts that are held in the public eye for maybe a week or so, and then life goes on and nothing is done to solve the problem. This is so horrible and sad and i feel horrible for this family and all who have ever gone through an experience like this
