Matthew Zapata -Trump mistakes 'confidential' and 'classified' in Clinton attack

CNN released an article that talked about the controversial event of emails being deleted from Hilary Clinton's email account. Donald Trump is also brought into the picture when they describe how he took to Twitter to attack Hilary for not knowing that the "C" on the emails meant "CLASSIFIED" in which case Trump was proved wrong. The "C" on the emails in fact stand for "CONFIDENTIAL" according to John Noonan, a national security adviser for Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney, who also brought this attention to Twitter.
The author of this article is David Wright who is a writer and editor for CNN politics. In the article he didn't really show any position of what his own personal opinion was on the matter. It was a factual and to the point article that gave only facts which let the audience interpret the article any way they wanted. The article was released on September 5th 2016 which can kind of change how people interoperate the article based on their already existing knowledge on the presidential candidates. Before reading this article I already had little knowledge on what exactly happened surrounding the email situation, but this article gave a little more insight on the FBI case that was filed and also gave evidence on Donald Trump's viewpoint towards Hilary and her situation. Presidential elections have been apart of US history for many years and this article just sheds some insight on the more dirty/controversial side of the elections.

  1. It's interesting to read an article that really has no biased opinion on either side. Recently, it seems like everything I read is strongly opinionated. I'm glad to see there is a source out there that just informs people on facts.

  2. I feel like this Twitter feud was just an excuse to get old news about Hillary Clinton back into circulation and get Trump supporters riled up.
