Analysis: The United States is granting 31 billion dollars in military aid to Israel, but it in the agreement Israel will not be able to ask for any more money. This deal represents the biggest pledge of U.S military assistance made to any country. The Israel negotiater rushed the paper work before Obama leaves office to make sure that the contract went through. But many republicans critize Obama to not being attentive enough to Israel's security, which the White House strongly denies. Israel has been a long term recipient to U.S aid grants, especially in military assistance during the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Obama and Netanyahu will meet next week in NY for the opening UN General Assembly. It is clear the despite tensions between the two leaders, the relationship between the two countries was never in jeopardy.

Synthesis: I believe this is a great thing, and will inspire many other countries to put their differences aside and move forward in a peaceful means. And this will show the critics of Obama that he actually does help Israel, and the United States is not selfish with their money. This is a major step taken by the government, and I believe this will secure peaceful relations between US and Israel. This is like what the French did to help America during the Revolution by giving financial aid for the military and supplies needed to fight and win.

  1. That's good. I think it sends a wave of peace to them, if that makes sense.
