Katie Haidet: Hillary Clinton has Pneumonia

Summary: After Hilary left 9/11 commemoration ceremony early, doctors declared that Clinton has pneumonia. Health issues is a big concern and could effect the campaign. Doctors had told Clinton to rest and put her on antibiotics. Clinton began to overheat and become dehydrated at the memorial and fainted. People began to worry when she appeared wobbly and stumbling as Secret Service agents helped her into a van to exit a memorial service marking the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks. She has also shown other health issues, including her two minute coughing fit during her event in Cleveland, blamed on allergies.

Analysis: Earlier this morning CNN released an article explaining scene made at the 9/11 ceremony. Health issues are a big concern when choosing who will run our country for the next 4-8 years. If Clinton is fainting at big events like the 15th remembrance of September 11, 2001, is she the presidential we truly want representing us? Her time in the office could be shorter and at risk with bad health issues; pneumonia is treatable but it seems that Hillary is trying to hide her Health issues and not tell us. As we have seen in the past, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and a few others are prime examples of death in the office. Especially with Clinton showing health signs already in the campaign.

  1. I don't believe Hillary Clinton will die of pneumonia because it is easily treated with antibiotics...my friend had pneumonia once and it went away in less than a month, it's not that big of a deal.

  2. Hey Katie, I thought you made some interesting points. While pneumonia can be treated fairly easily, it reflects on Clinton's overall health. This raises some concerns on how well she will be able to preform as President when she has much more important, stressful responsibilities to attend to.

  3. Hillary Clintons health does not seem to be in too terrible of a state if she was cleared by doctors, but it is certainly concerning that she would try to hide what was happening from the public.

  4. It goes to show that the weeks the media questioned Clinton's health was not all lies and mudslinging. It had some truth behind it, at least from what we know now. I think that it is dishonest of Clinton to not be open, and furthermore accuse people who raised questions of lying. It will be interesting to see if this affects polling.
