Isabella Poscente- Football Player gets Arrested
Summary-
On a Saturday night, a college football player, Bernard
Schrimer punched a referee. Schrimer is a Mount San Antonio freshman offensive
linesman with their football team and was arrested that night and was taken to
Ventura County Jail. Schrimer definitely lost his anger and released it on the referee.
The College Athletic Association is also punishing him by a five-year ban.
Analysis/Synthesis-
This was written by the associated press and posted on the
ABC website, the authors point of view is third person. The article was
produced on September 11, 2016. I had no prior knowledge of the article because
it was not all over the media. This article was made primarily for football
fans. It is a negative influence because people getting punched is not
positive. The point the article is trying to convey is how much violence there
is in the world. The article connects to many things in the past, because it
was an outbreak of violence and that is very common in our society.

Wow. I wonder what sent him over the edge. I agree the violence within the society is out of hand.
ReplyDeleteI agree the violence of our society really needs to get under control. It is crazy how often things like this are on the news and I think we all need to do our part to end the cycle of violence.
