Right now gas is at an all time low. In Texas, Kansas, Ohio , Illinois and Michigan have the lowest prices. In Oklahoma City they are selling it for $1.11 a gallon! The nationwide average is $1.74, one of the lowest lows since January 2009. It is expected to go up but still remain historically low.
This is similar to the roaring twenties where consumersim was high and the economy was good. This followed a depression and after the twenties there was a depression. We recently had a depression but are now at a economic high which means we will go to an economic low soon enough.
