"Cruz-Rubio feud heats up in South Carolina" -Leah Messinger(period1)

The ongoing feud between presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio continues as Rubio claims that Cruz is a liar at the South Carolina primary this past Saturday. Cruz responds to Rubio's claim by stating, "We are not in grade school where you just get to say, 'liar liar pants on fire' and not respond to the substance." On Sunday, Rubio accused Cruz of false attacks over same-sex marriage, planned parenthood, immigration, campaign tactics and other things. Rubio's only response to these claims is that Cruz is simply lying.
In an instance like this where people are put under extreme amounts of pressure to compete for a series government position makes it hard to tell who is actually telling the truth and who is just bluffing under pressure. Although, Cruz does have a point that simply calling someone a liar is not a very convincing defense mechanism because there is no proof to back it up. If the candidates truly do want to run our country for valid reasons then they need to stop pointing fingers at each other and start taking action to do things that they actually want to accomplish as a potential president. Pleasing their audiences is useless if when they actually become president they don't fulfill everything that thy promised about themselves and what they would succeed in doing.
