Everybody knows that Kanye West has a personality that is out of this world and the things he says sometimes cause much controversy. Just as he tweeted" To Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, New York Times, and any other white publication. Please do not comment on black music anymore." What he advised to the public was for "white publications" to not comment on black music and spoke with love about cautioning folks to " Shut the F*ck up and enjoy the greatness."With comments like these, his fans started praying for him with the hashtag #PrayForKanye. Many think Kanye is a genius, an idiot, an egotistical sociopath or all the above but in the end of day, nobody can stop Kanye not even Kanye. He is running for president in 2020 and what comes next from him is the total domination of the planet.
This connects to U.s history because of the involvement of African-Americans in music during the Harlem Renaissance. Some things have changed since then but some things still stayed such as the suppression of the black community. Many individuals believe that black culture is being stolen to this day and the privileged are getting away with it.
As for Kanye, I prefer him than Trump any day -as I am able to stay in the country- Kanye will keep being Kanye while others pray for him.
