Summary: Bernie Sanders decided we as a nation should discuss sexuality; not be ashamed, embarrassed, or feel uncomfortable about it. Because sexuality is "an intrinsic part of human life," Bernie stated he disagrees strongly with the teaching of abstinence-only education. He said that sexuality should be explained to kids on a strictly factual basis. Sanders also shared his views on current rape culture, stating "rape must be prosecute." This is the first time this topic has been spoken on since a 1972 essay discussing rape had been discussed by Sanders last May, causing a few problems.
Analysis: The lack of informative sex education in America is not only unbelievable, but almost dangerous. Studies have shown that the teaching of abstinence not only leads to unwanted teenage pregnancy, but also the spreading of various STDs. I'm personally behind Sanders on this 200%, but of course, as we always see in politics, there will be a group of people who take it upon themselves to be horribly offended by his hopes of helping the youth protect themselves! That's just my thought though!

This is completely true and I totally agree with you. Schools and teachers do not stress the importance of sex education in school.
