This article by Brandon Miller, and Nick Thompson,CNN, gives us all something to think about. Looking back at the devastating El Nino from 1997 and knowing that this could happen again soon is scary. The last thing the world needs right now is a disease outbreak, or a food shortage and weird weather patterns. This article does a very good job at presenting all of the information and making us care about the issue. The main thing that this article is trying to convey is the urgency and need for change in this issue.
Natural disasters are so humbling. Knowing that everything we've done on Earth can be demolished in few sweeps really reminds us of how small we are.
