Tristan Spohn 3rd Period

Students at the University of Missouri have been protesting their president and chancellor due to the lack of effort to even acknowledge the harsh racism at the school and an indifference toward trying to stop it. The football team even refused to play any more games until they stepped down. And so, now the University of Missouri is searching for a new president and chancellor.

Analysis: It is outstanding to see these students standing up for their rights, which vividly reminds me of the reform movements in the 1800s. Just the these students, women and african americans fought for their rights and used nonviolent means of achieving those.
