Trick-or-treaters killed by speeding car Alora Lieck

On Halloween night three kids who were on the hunt for the best candy were hit and killed by a speeding car. The three kids killed were 3, 13 year old girls two of which were twins. The girls were crossing the street and had the right of way. There are two suspects but no one has been arrested yet. Halloween is one of the deadliest nights of the year because of the high number of drunken drivers and pedestrians on the road, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Two years ago, 48% of all crash fatalities during Halloween involved a drunken driver, compared with 31% on an average day in the same year.
Please make sure you always pay attention to your surroundings even if you have the right of way. And drivers--- Never EVER drink, text, ect while driving

  1. Its scary knowing that you have a 48% chance of being hot and killed by a driver on a day when so many kids are so easily distracted and are basically let lose to roam the neighborhood.

  3. Tristin Manus 8th- Halloween is indeed one of the deadliest holidays, because you are celebrating at night and people on this holiday are reckless. I am scared for the safety of children and teens on this holiday
