Lincoln Anthony (8th Period)- "City and Dallas ISD share constituencies and goals but collaboration is limited"

Recently, middle class families have begun to disappear and flee into the Dallas suburbs in order to escape from the terrible school system we have. The city of Dallas has not responded to this like a rational human would, by improving the schools here, but they have decided to build even more terrible middle class housing. Mike Rawlings said recently that they should work more in tandem with the school district, but not very much movement has been made.

I mean, I don't really think there is much to say about this other than, well, they should work together. It really is as clear as day. I feel as though it is similar to if one day all of the branches of the government suddenly gave up on working together and just started doing their own things. It is unnecessary and it is just plain weird that they had not thought of this until recently.
